01 — Company overview

Established 1981. Running production from day one.

We, V D Industries, were established in 1981 and have run successfully from the day one — handling multiple central-government projects and multiple private-organisation projects in the field of machining and engineering works.

We manufacture all types of machinery parts, and are well known for manufacturing railway machining parts, industrial circuit breakers, transformers and R&D development projects. Turnover reached around ₹72 lakh in the previous financial year, and the company is set on higher growth in the years ahead.

02 — What we do

Nine processes. One facility.

A job can arrive as a drawing and leave as a finished, inspected part without ever leaving the building.

03 — Machinery portfolio

Machines in our facility.

Industrial machines — lathes, milling machines, drilling machines — plus automation solutions for efficient precision manufacturing.

04 — Sectors served

Where our parts end up.

Railways, high-voltage switchgear, space research, turbomachinery and scientific instrumentation — five sectors that agree on one thing: the part is either right or it is scrap.

05 — Our clients

Served, and still serving.

Central-government programmes and private manufacturers who came back.

06 — Technological advancements

A 1981 company, running 2026 process.

Longevity is not the same as standing still. Three programmes are changing how work moves across the floor.

01

Smart Machinery

Integration of IoT technology for real-time monitoring and control of machinery — spindle load, cycle time and downtime visible while the job is running, not after it has failed.

02

Automation Solutions

Robotic technologies and AI are utilised to enhance productivity and reduce labour costs, so operator attention goes to setup and inspection rather than to loading parts.

03

Energy Efficiency

Advancements in energy-efficient designs reduce environmental impact and lower operational costs — a lower cost per part that survives export-market price scrutiny.

07 — Why V D Industries

Four reasons to choose us.

01

Government-grade from day one

Multiple central-government projects handled successfully since 1981, alongside private-sector programmes. The audit trail predates most of the competition.

02

One vendor, drawing to part

Turning, milling, drilling, cutting, VMC, laser, EDM wire, fabrication and power press under one roof — fewer handoffs, one point of accountability.

03

Built for hard materials

Ceramic-component machining for railways and space research is routine here. Work that punishes the wrong process choice.

04

R&D-comfortable

Research institutions come here with a concept, not a finished drawing. The company is set up to iterate rather than only to repeat.

Plans for expansion

Expanding internationally.

V D Industries aims to expand internationally, enhance its product lines and incorporate more advanced technologies to stay ahead in a competitive market. If you are sourcing precision components and want a supplier with a forty-four-year audit trail, send the drawing — we will come back with process, lead time and price.
