We, V D Industries, were established in 1981 and have run successfully from the day one — handling multiple central-government projects and multiple private-organisation projects in the field of machining and engineering works.
We manufacture all types of machinery parts, and are well known for manufacturing railway machining parts, industrial circuit breakers, transformers and R&D development projects. Turnover reached around ₹72 lakh in the previous financial year, and the company is set on higher growth in the years ahead.

1981
Dakshayani Engineering Works is founded
The company opens in Bangalore and is running production from day one — no ramp-up, no pilot period.
1980s–90s
Central-government work begins
Multiple central-government machining projects are handled successfully, establishing the documentation and tolerance discipline the company still runs on.
2000s
Switchgear and power become a core line
11 kV / 33 kV VCB component machining for Kirloskar Electric, plus circuit-breaker and transformer parts, grow into a standing programme.
2010s
Ceramic machining for railways and ISRO
Work through BHEL Malleswaram, SBD Hyderabad R&D and Mysore Road EDN puts V D Industries on Indian Railways and ISRO supply chains.

You send the print or the 3D model. We come back on material, process route, achievable tolerance and anything on the drawing that will cost you money for no functional gain.
Quotation & lead time
A written price against a stated quantity and delivery date. Tooling and fixture costs are called out separately rather than buried in the piece rate.
First-off & approval
For a new part we cut a first-off and hold the batch until it is signed off. R&D work iterates here rather than at the end.
Production & despatch
Batch production with in-process inspection, then packed and despatched against your schedule. Repeat orders run off the approved setup.
